Once upon a time, I wanted to become an interior designer but due to my beloved grandmother’s death, it changed my world and my life.

My beloved grandmother was diagnosed with diabetes (strong family history) and later had a stroke that left her paralyzed from neck down. She had the classic textbook case of diabetes complications from one to another and eventually led to her death 5 years later. Conventional medicine has only prolonged her life for 5 years but hasn’t been able to restore it. I knew then that I didn’t want to witness another family member going through this painful journey again. So I decided to change my career path and venture into nutrition. I truly believe food is where health begins so I decided to take matters into my own hands and learned how I can help my family to prevent or delay this chronic disease.

Journey as a Dietitian

Fast forward a few years later, I graduated and became a dietitian. I have been blessed with so many opportunities to share my passion and love for nutrition and food. However, I realized that although people do want to take care of their health, they are confused with the conflicting information in the media and on the internet and they simply don’t have time to eat well.

I am passionate about health and I truly believe that if you can make information simple to understand and easy to implement, people can at least try to live a healthy lifestyle one day at a time. This is why SIMPLY SOSAN was born. I want to use this platform to share useful information by taking complicated research information and translating it into simple messages that you can easily implement. I want to create recipes using fewer and wholesome ingredients to keep eating simple but yummy.

My mission is to help one person at a time, one family at a time, and together we can change our next generation to actually live better and longer than us. I welcome you to join my mission.

Ready to talk one-on-one about your nutrition?

I love to eat wholesome good quality food not just “salad”. I think life is too short to settle for bland, tasteless food. My mission is to make healthy wholesome food so good that you wonder why you eat packaged food in the first place.
